GAZA Emergency APPEAL

Introduction:

The ongoing military offensive in Gaza by the Israeli army has resulted in a substantial number of casualties, most of whom are civilians. This has further exacerbated an already challenging humanitarian situation. This proposal aims to provide immediate aid and essential supplies to the affected civilians.

Objectives:

• Deliver immediate relief supplies to the affected areas.
• Ensure that medical aid reaches the wounded in a timely manner.
• Provide temporary shelter to those who've lost their homes.
• Address the basic needs of food, clean water, and hygiene products for affected families.

Proposed Activities:

Medical Aid:

• Collaborate with international organizations and local hospitals to provide essential medical supplies.
• Set up mobile clinics in severely affected areas for first aid and minor treatments.
• Facilitate the movement of wounded individuals to hospitals in safer zones.

Food & Water Supplies:

• Source and distribute emergency food packages, including ready-to-eat meals.
• Provide clean bottled water and water purification tablets.
• Collaborate with local organizations to ensure equitable distribution.

Shelter:

• Distribute emergency tents and essential living supplies to families whose homes were destroyed.
• Set up temporary housing camps with basic amenities like sanitation, clean water, and medical facilities.

Mental and Psychological Support:

• Collaborate with NGOs specializing in trauma to set up counseling centers.
• Organize group sessions and workshops to help children and adults cope with the trauma.

Budget Estimate:

• Medical supplies and clinics: €25000
• Food and water: 18.500 €
• Temporary shelters: 10800€
• Mental and psychological support: 2500€
• Transportation and logistics: $2500

Total Budget: 59300€

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Regular assessments will be conducted to identify the immediate needs of the affected population.
