Gary Hayes Memorial Fund

On October 21st the Hayes Family suffered the unexpected and tragic loss of Gary Hayes. Gary leaves behind his wife of 4 years, Susan Hayes, his son Gary Hayes (age 16), daughter Lisa Hayes (age 6) and countless heartbroken family, friends and community members.

Gary was tragically taken from us on Sunday, October 21st in a boating accident on Candlewood Lake in Brookfield, CT. He was doing what he loved – fishing – when the accident occurred.

This page has been organized by family and friends of Gary and Sue because many of you have expressed a desire to help in some way. You should feel no obligation to contribute and do so only if it helps you to remember Gary. The funds collected through this platform will help honor Gary’s memory and provide a measure of comfort and support to Susan, Gary and Lisa as they move forward in life.

All funds raised through this campaign have been set up for Susan to have exclusive use and control of the funds for the family.
