Gardens of Capodistrias Museum

Για πάνω από δύο αιώνες, οι πανέμορφοι κήποι του Μουσείου Καποδίστρια ενέπνευσαν και καλωσόρισαν τους επισκέπτες. Σήμερα, περισσότερο από ποτέ άλλοτε, έχουμε την ανάγκη επαφής με τη φύση. Ζητάμε τη στήριξή σας για να συντηρήσουμε αυτούς τους κήπους, ώστε να συνεχίσουν να προσφέρουν ένα φυσικό καταφύγιο, ένα μέρος στο οποίο μπορεί κανείς να βυθιστεί στην Ιστορία και στη φυσική ομορφιά της Κέρκυρας.

Τα μικρά Μουσεία έχουν δεχτεί ισχυρό πλήγμα απο τον Covid-19. Όλοι όσοι εργάζονται για τη συντήρηση των κήπων μας, μοιράζονται τον ίδιο στόχο. Να τους φροντίσουν τώρα ώστε να τους απολαύσουμε εμείς αργότερα.

Αυτή η εκστρατεία η οποία οργανώνεται απο τον Σύλλογο των Φίλων του Μουσείου, στοχεύει στη στήριξη των Κηπουρών του κήπου του Μουσείου Καποδίστρια για όλο το 2021. Και αυτό θα μας οδηγήσει στον τελικό μας στόχο, ο οποίος είναι να συμπεριληφθεί ο ιστορικός αυτός κήπος στην Ευρωπαϊκή Διαδρομή Ιστορικών Κήπων.

Γιατί; Επειδή θέλουμε ο Κήπος του Μουσείου Καποδίστρια να γίνει ο πρώτος ελληνικός κήπος που θα ενταχθεί σε αυτό το πολιτισμικό δίκτυο που προσδίδει κύρος και επισκεψιμότητα. Πρώτος μας στόχος είναι να μαζέψουμε το ποσό των 10.000 Ε. Με την δική σας βοήθεια μπορούμε να το πετύχουμε!

Το 2021 συμπληρώνονται 200 χρόνια από την Ελληνική Επανάσταση. Τι καλύτερος τρόπος να τιμήσουμε τη σύγχρονη ιστορία μας από το να προβάλουμε στην Ευρώπη αυτόν τον κήπο που συνδέεται με τον Ιωάννη Καποδίστρια, τον Κερκυραίο πολιτικό, τον Ευρωπαίο διπλωμάτη.

For over two centuries, these beautiful gardens surrounding the Capodistrias Museum of Corfu, have inspired visitors and welcomed travelers. Today, more than ever, we have come to appreciate our need to benefit from our contact with nature. We are reaching out to you to help us preserve these gardens, to ensure that they continue to offer a place of beauty, a place where one can dive into the history and diversity of an Ionian garden.

Small museums have been hit particularly hard by Covid-19. All people involved in the maintenance and management of our gardens share the purpose to preserve them, to maintain their beauty now, so that we can enjoy it later. Gardeners are committed people that work to maintain the life of our historic gardens.

This campaign, established by the Society of Friends of the Museum, aims at supporting the Gardeners of the Capodistrias Museum Gardens throughout 2021. And this will take us to our ultimate goal which is to have this historic garden listed as the first Greek Historic Garden included on the European Route of Historic Gardens. Why? Because we feel that the gardens and what they represent should be shared and celebrated as a destination on this prestigious directory of cultural history! To help the museum achieve the initial landscaping, we are aiming to raise a minimum of E10,000. We know that with your help, we can achieve this goal in no time!! 2021 will mark 200 years of Greek Independence, so what better way to celebrate than by memorialising Greek history? Can you help us reach our goal? No donation is too small, but larger donations are more than greatly appreciated and rewarded!
