Gambia Project 2013

In the Spring of 2013, I, Shayan Gazerani will joining Newcastle College of Newcastle-upon-Tyne (UK) and Bull Precision Expedition Ltd to travel to Gambia (West Africa) in an effort to gain experience in Relief Work in a Remote Area. 

• About a 1/3 of the population lives below the international poverty line of US$1.25 (GB£ 0.78) a day
• In the North Bank, Up-per River and Lower River regions, about two thirds of the population is poor 
• School fees long prevented many children from attending school

I will be doing some repair and construction work to improve the schools facilities in Gambia. He will be also delivering some sports equipment and activities to the school children.

I will need your support to raise the funds necessary to get him there and therefore, would appreciate your generosity in donating what you can afford. 

You will be kept up to date and get a full report on how the money is spent and the results achieved in Gambia.
