Campaign Story
In November of this year my school are sending students to The Gambia in Africa for the 22nd time. Through various means money is raised is taken over there and since the first trip between £10,000 and £27,000 has been taken per trip. This benefits the local community massively and allows us to interact and help people we would never normally see.
Since hearing of this trips existence when I first started at the school I have wanted to go on the trip, but now the time has come that I have an oppurtunity to do what I would love to do and go on the trip, myself and my family find ourselves unable to pay for the costs we must cover to take me there.
The school request a deposit of £200 by Friday 15th March (with possible late deposits allowed) and then the remaining of the £750 cost paid at a later date. Medical costs of £100 are also estimated to be needed bring the total cost of this trip to myself to be £850. For something that is both for charity and what I've always wanted to do makes it very irritating to find I most likely will not be able to go.
It is for this reason I ask that you generous people dig deep and help fund me to go and do this charitable work. In return, I will find a way to thank and give something in return to each and every one of you.
I have not set any minimum or maximum donation so any amount you can afford is greatly appreciated.
