Have you ever had a time in your life where life beat the crap out of you, and you had no idea how you were going to get out? But deep down, you knew you had SO much still to contribute to the world and you somehow had to get out.

Lyme hit me 4 years ago, and of course no doctors could tell me what was wrong. Last year, I become completely disabled OVERNIGHT. I did not have a chance to 'plan for this.' Imagine going from being an extremely ambitious and hard working and caring person to bedridden with no light at the end of the tunnel!

But with perseverance, I'm slowly recovering. I was officially diagnosed a couple months ago, so I finally know the enemy I'm fighting. Lyme treatment is like cancer treatment - you become completely ill and disabled while going through treatment. You cannot live a normal life, nor can you work to support yourself. Unfortunately, I don't have a family or spouse to support me - I just don't have that.

Most people don't know how sick you can get from lyme and from the treatment, so imagine being glued to the toilet everyday because your insides are coming out for hours. Imagine not remembering anything. Imagine being so exhausted 24/7 that even taking a shower is extremely hard. Imagine any amount of light making you extremely nauseous and almost fainting. Imagine going from being a very smart person to not being able to understand what others are saying. Imagine having constant massive pressure in and on your brain - it feels like a giant elephant is sitting on your head. Imagine the light in your head being turned off & everything around you looks dark. Imagine having so much anxiety and panic attacks, it's hard to be in public. All this is from the disease. Once cured, all these symptoms go away!

Who I am:

-someone that's always given 200% in any endeavor and to those around me and find it hard to ask for help. I've always the one giving to others.

-someone that is humbled by this tough medical issue I'm dealing with and realize I can't do it alone; I need help.

-someone who knows she will one day help others up who are beaten down and broken. But first, I need to heal!

Why I need the funds:

-I've gone through all the money I've had. I've already borrowed what I can from friends. I'm currently living on credit cards, and those are soon maxed out. I'm on the right road, but I need about 7 more months to get back to 90-100% health. (Right now, I'm at about 20%.) From there, watch out world!

-I need funds for treatments (very, very expensive) and basic living expenses - since I'm too disabled to work until I'm well.

There are no government assistance programs that cover what you need while you're going through this.

What you get in return:

-do this because my story speaks to you, and you know that I will one day be helping thousands of others in need. This is not a promise; this is a guarantee - my life path is going in that direction. This is your way to help make the world a better place for now and for future generations.

-additional reward, from the business that I will be building when I'm well - I'm happy to give you a generous equity stake in the profits if you donate $30,000 or more. With this determination I have, this business will be successful once I get started. If you donate $30k or more, I will be in touch with the details and paperwork on the equity stake.
