Future Baby Ramsey

I am doing this in hopes of one day soon getting pregnant. I am Heather(21) and my husband is Roger(24).My husband and I got married on June 13, 2011. We both knew that we wanted to have a family someday. We started trying to get pregnant soon after being married. after 14 months of being married with no success of achieving pregnancy, we decided it was time that i went to the doctor to see what was going on. We also got my husband a semen analysis done to see if he couldve been the problem. His results were outstanding. Mine on the other hand were not. My first appointment with the OBGYN didnt go like i had planned. I was hoping to go in there, and him tell me that we just were not trying at the right time in the month. Well, he took many bloods to check all of my FSH levels and everything that goes along with the first visit. After the results came back  normal, he had me take Metformin to see if that would help me. We tried many months with different dosages, and still no luck. He then decided it was time to try a new medication added with the Metformin. So he started me on Fermera. After about four rounds of taking that, we still had no progress. The last appointment i had with my doctor broke my heart. I went in there thinking that he would give me a refill on my perscription , so we could try it for a few more months. Well, after he confirmed that i was not pregnant, he told me that he could no longer help me, and that he was sending me to the fertility clinic in hopes that they could better help me.  So, today (Feb.5, 2014, after trying for 2 1/2 years) we had our first appointment at the fertlilty clinic. I was a bundle of nerves. After being called back , we discussed our journey and history ect. She then said that she was going to do a internal ultrasound to see how my ovaries and uterus looked. They were both normal. She said that i have unexplained infertility. BUT she gave us a few options on how to attack this, and hopefully get us a baby. She said our best most cost effictive way to start a family would be to get an IUI(intra-uterine insemination). I already knew that it would not be completely covered by our insurance, i just didnt know how much we would have to pay. Luckily for us, the ultrasounds and blood work will all be covered. And most of the medications will also be covered. But for the semen wash and the  IUI procedure, it will cost us $625 per each IUI we do. We were told that before we can start an IUI cycle, that we do have to pay the $625 up front. Everyone knows, that things may not always happen on the first try. I expect for us to do atleast 2 or 3 IUIs before we are successful. And that would be $1875. As you can also tell, that adds up extremely quick(that does not include the cost of medications that is not covered by our insurance). I am just asking for a small donation to help us pay for the cost of the IUIs so we can hopefully get pregnant and have the family we have always wanted.
