Furthering Education & Paying It Forward

I have always been a hard worker and would put other people’s needs before my own. Over 10 years ago, during my single days, I worked 3 jobs so that I could pay my way through college and get a good career. I completed my education and was fortunate enough to work in my chosen field. However, about 4 years ago I faced the devastating news that the company I was at for over 5 years and worked so hard for had plans to restructure and my position was no longer required. During the time wherein I was unemployed, bound and determined to find a job to provide for my young family, I was forced to take a job outside of my chosen career. The job was also at a significantly lower income but I had a duty to contribute to household expenses and the raising of my young daughter (who was 2 at the time). In addition to going through the painful experience of being restructured and working at a substantially lower income, I was forced to endure physical and emotional violence in the home. In an effort to protect my daughter from witnessing such abuse, I worked up enough courage to request my ex leave the marital home so that no further psychological damage could continue in front of someone so young (my daughter was 4 at the time). I am now a single mother working a full time job and trying to start a business on the side. In order for me to be successful at the operation of my new business I require my education to be updated. I am asking for donations so that I can go back to school while working full time and looking after my daughter by myself. I have great determination, passion and drive to succeed. However, the only obstacle I’m faced with is a lack of financial means to further my education. I work hard every day and would like to be given an opportunity to provide a good life for my daughter (who is now 6). I ask that you please help in my quest to provide a good life for my daughter. By donating a little bit it would be a huge help and allow me the ability to further my education so that I can finally work in my chosen career field again.
