Furniture and Instruments for Children’s Art School Naggar Himalaya

The Children's Art College in Naggar is a beautiful project made possible through volunteer non profit initiative from artist's and local teacher's in Naggar,Kullu valley in Himalaya. I got involved a couple of years ago and it totally blew me away.. Today there come more than 120 children from all the different valleys around (some of them more than 6 hours away) to learn traditional music,dance,drawing, woodwork and more every weekend when not in school.

The enthusiasm and joy of the students is a sight to behold,and the amazing work by the teacher's which do this on they're spare time is really a great example for many of us! So it's all made possible with a absolute minimum of money and materials. I have for a while tried to arrange some kind of annual support between groups and similar projects in Norway and Europe,and there is willingness to make it happen,but it takes time....So I have decided to make this campaign in the meantime,since I am returning there in end of September,and will therefore be able to personally see to that every dollar and cent collected will be used to its designated purpose,in this case to get a minimum of furniture and Instruments and materials so the children can continue they're practice and training while we are pursuing a more permanent and steady solution...!
