Bright Hope Cambodia is a non-profit organization that provides support for vulnerable HIV affected children in Phnom Penh, Cambodia through our 3 programs: a Group Home, Day-care and Home-Based Care.
Our work began in January 2018 when there was a sudden, urgent need for a new local NGO (non-governmental organization) to help these children. Here we are, 5 months later, registered as an local NGO. We have a big beautiful house, and 29 excited children waiting to move in. One step closer to a fully functional group home.
However, our resources are scarce and we lack some bear essentials to move these children into their new home. Our first priority is to furnish the house. We are in the process of finding permanent sponsors to Bright Hope Cambodia, which is well on its way due to a number of very generous donations. But these children need a new safe environment as soon as possible, waiting for the sponsorships to be completed could still take some time. This is why we are looking for financial support to furnish the home, separately to the sponsorship program.
But we need some help from you to accomplish this.
We are hoping for the support of the local and global community to help this family of children and caretakers settle in to the new house. Having said this, and to make everyone more aware of our plans, we have made a list of required items for the house, these can be seen in the pictures above. There’s a wide variety of basic necessities, from a stove to mattresses. Please check the pictures of the House and also the list of the items to see if you can help realise these children’s dreams.

Thank you so much for your help.
