Funeral for Mairéad Carolan

Hi All,

I hope you are all keeping well and safe during these uncertain times, as you all know the funeral for the lovely, kind and friendly Mairéad Carolan is being held tomorrow, Tuesday 14th April.

As funerals are not allowed during this time, we are asking any of those who would like to wave Mairéad off to please do so as she passes down Willesden High Road. You are welcome to throw her favourite flower; a Lily if you like. In order to adhere to social distancing rules the following has been arranged:

ARRIVAL 11:45 am at O'FARRELL'S FAMILY BUTCHERS, 80 High Rd, Willesden, NW10 2PR and people can stand at safe distance as far as the big Sainsbury's.

Mairéad will leave Crooks Funeral Home at 12 noon and drive up Willesden High Road, past the road she lived all her life and come back up towards those waiting to give their farewell. Her beloved daughter, Ellie will continue on her with her Mum to Hendon Cemetery and lay her to rest beside her own Mum and sister.

As many of you know Mairéad's funeral has been organised by her 16 year old daughter, Ellie. Ellie is a beautiful young girl who has had to be wiser than her years and take on the role of arranging her Mum's funeral on her own and make sure it is befitting to her lovely and kind Mum. This unique young girl has done her Mum proud by ensuring that she gets the send off that she deserves, even during this strange time where funerals are prohibited Ellie has made sure that her Mum is laid to rest with her young aunt, and her grandmother who passed away just 18 months before.

This fundraising page has been setup in order to help Ellie with the expenses of this funeral and give Mairéad the send off that she deserves. Times are indeed difficult for us all but please believe that no amount is too big or too small and Ellie would like to Thank everyone who has shown her such support in every way over this time.
