Funeral and Travel Expenses For My Son’s Dad

My name is Shirley Smith and originally from the city of Freetown located in Sierra Leone. Recently a mudslide disaster claimed the lives of many people in the city of Freetown Sierra Leone and I am directly affected by these unfortunate events. My Son Crispin Scott lost his father who was also named Crispin Scott on Monday, August 14th, 2017. I and my son Crispin relocated to the United States when he was about eleven months old and since then he had never had the opportunity to meet his dad in person. He was in fact born in Senegal. My Son Crispin and his dad were very close, they had video calls regularly, and chatted on Whatsapp. They usually talked about things like sports, school, and video games they both loved. Even though my son never had the chance to see his dad in person it didn't seem like they were a million miles apart. My son never had the chance to see his father but it will be of great honor if he will have the opportunity to attend his father funeral and meets with his grandparent who he has also never met. I am a single mother and a student studying to go in the medical field which makes me unable to afford a trip to Africa, especially for us to attend the memorial service of my son's dad. My son Crispin is almost aged 12 and he starts Benjamin Franklin middle school in Daily City on August 23rd, 2017.

Two weeks ago my son Crispin Scott had a haircut and he wanted me to take a picture and send it to his dad to confirm if the barber got his hairline right this time.
