Funds for Mamcy

Hello family, relatives and friends, mama Marilyn Garcia Escaño has been in the hospital since Jan 19. It was seen in her tests that her wbc is very low. She needs to undergo bone marrow aspiration to confirm her illness. As of now, leukemia is possible. Because of her low WBC (white blood cells) she quickly acquired other diseases. Her current complications as of Jan 27 according to the doctor are:

- Pneumonia and Active Tuberculosis

- Her heart is also weak

She had gone several blood transfusion already. The bone marrow aspiration has not been done yet because her heart needs to be okay. The doctor said the fight has just begun. And possible long term treatment here.

Unexpectedly, HMO didn't cover mama's illness so our claim to cover the hospital bill was disapproved. Our current hospital bill is too high that's why we are planning to transfer her to Philippine General Hospital (PGH)

Mama still wants to live because she is still young. She is just 62 years old and just started enjoying her senior life. We are asking for help to support his hospitalization/medication. Thank you!

Naospital si mama starting Jan 19 sa probinsya namin sa Pangasinan, after 48 hours hindi pa rin matukoy ang sakit nya. Dinala namin sya dito sa Maynila (salamat po sa lahat ng tumulong) at sabi ng doctor nya nagsisimula pa lang ang laban. Posssible daw na may leukemia si mama and currently may complications na sya:

• Pneumonia at Active Tuburcolosis
• Sakit sa puso - humina dahil sa Pneumonia

Halos hindi na daw po nakakapagproduce ng white blood cells si mama. Ang WBC ang nakakahelp para makapagfight ng infection. Dahil sa baba kaya siya nagkakaroon ng iba pang sakit na kailangan din agapan at pagalingin.

Ilang beses na po syang nasalinan ng dugo.

Ang isang bag ng platelet ay worth 30k

Hindi din matuloy yung bone marrow aspiration dahil hindi sya iclear ng cardio nya. Kailangan po ang BMA para malaman talaga kung leukemia ang sakit nya.

Mahahabang gamutan po eto kaya nakikiusap po kami kung pwede nyo po kami matulungan sa bayarin. Nagkataon po kasi na hindi na-approve ng heath card/hmo ni mamcy ang claim namin dahil pre-existing yung sakit nya.

Si Marilyn Escano po ay matulungin din sa iba, matapang po sya at nais nya pa pong mabuhay. Any amount ay makakatulong po para sa ikakagaling nya. Salamat po.
