Dear internet members,  I am trying to fundraise money for our family friend John. He has lived with my nan for 25 years as she took him in when he had no family, no friends, no home. Previous to my nan taking him into her care he would sleep in skips and sleep on the streets. During the 25 years my nan has given up her career to look after him, cook love and care for this man. Last week he was brought into hospital during out of the ordinary circumstances and he was diagnosed with liver cancer that has heavily spread throughout his body. The extent of this cancer suggests he has weeks to live and as my nan is 70 years old herself we as a family are trying to get together some funds to help for his funeral as this was a very unexpected situation to be in.  Any donations would be much appreciated for this lovely helpless man who we are trying to help with his last remaining end of life wishes. I am already trying to contact cancer charity organisers to see if I can organise a run or some other events to try and help boost the fundraiser.  If you would like any further information about the fundraiser itself then please do not hesitate to email me on [email protected]
