Funds to fight back

Hi, I am Jimmy. 33 years old this year.

I was being sued by my ex-employer cum school mate now. Due to sensitive contents, I will not quote any names and timeline will not be quoted.

This person, was a schoolmate back in secondary school, for name sake, I am calling this person a guy name JX.

In year 20XX, I was looking for a job and I saw JX posting on fb that he is looking to hire. At that point in time, I had went for many interview but not many came back, and those which came back, wasn't really what I was looking for. Therefore, I decided to approch JX for a job.

I gotten the job and shortly after that I was posted overseas. I was stationed overseas for about 1 year.

When this project ended, I was brought back to Singapore, due to lack of "projects" , JX even had delayed my salary. As he was my ex schoolmate, I wanted to help his business and I spread words of asking backers to invest so get a new project which I got while I was stationed overseas.

Little did I know, he accused me of trying to steal the project and terminated me. He even posted on his fb and the company's page to tell everyone I am terminated by him, with a large photo of me. I was so furious and I replied on my own fb saying what he did was unjust to me and I stated a few facts about him or his company.

After some time, I recieved demand letter from his lawyer sueing me for

1) Negligent in my course of work and wants to claim back losses he had incurred due to my negligent

2) Defamation towards him

I am only a normal working class with a middle income group salary, in order to fight him, I had borrowed a lot from relatives, friends and banks.

Till date, I had already spend at least $15,000 on legal cost fighting him.

I wish to raise $40,000 to continue as the 1) case is going for trial soon in August 2017.

JX has been trying to delay the case and this issue has been dragging on for more than a year now. He knows I do not have much money to sustain long battles, and if one day, I am not able to pay my lawyers, he can easily win his claims againt me. I do not wish for that to happen, and hence am here wishing to get funded to continue to fight on.

I pray that the world will have mercy on me.
