It's that time again where we are in need of community support. We are always in short supply of much needed supplies such as cat and kitten food (wet and dry), puppy food, cat litter, puppy pee pads and paper towels. I'm also low on my dewormers and flea and tick preventatives. I still have numerous older cats that have been fully vetted that are seeking homes and still in my care. I have Delilah, a 8 month old female kitten, still needing full vetting.
I have a puppy I'm preparing for adoption that needs vaccinations. He has been dewormed and was treated for coccidia by Dr. Higgins and is cleared now to be vaccinated. We also have Fives, our failure to thrive cat that survived, still needing ongoing care. He was stable enough earlier this year to neuter so we did. Now his health is fluctuating and he took a turn for the worse recently and we had to get an emergency vet visit. We are still no closer to a diagnosis for Fives and now he's on a medically formulated diet that requires special food. I also recently did an intake on a beautiful female Main Coon/ Snowshoe mix that came very sick with coccidia and loaded with parasites. She is in need of full vetting. She has been treated for coccidia by Dr. Higgins and has finished the medicine. She is currently being dewormed. She needs vaccinations, Fiv/FeLV testing and to be spayed. Our needs are ongoing and urgent. Please help us start the new year off right for the animals. Every single dollar counts and no donation is ever to small. I've always been a firm believer that everyone can do something and you guys have always been great in supporting our mission to save these Bowie county animals. We have scaled back our intakes but are continuing to do what we can and we kindly thank you for your support.
Thank you everyone and please share
