Hi, my name is Felix and I've spent my childhood in the streets of Vaudreuil-Soulange skating with my friends. The only way my mother could insure that I would be out of trouble was to make sure I left with my board in the morning and she would only ever see me once my teenage self would get hungry (often enough).
One thing that all Vaudreuil-Soulange skateboard kids (an quite a few skateboarding adults!) have in common; is they live somewhere where unpredictable weather roams the skies of our beautiful sector minutes off the island of Montreal and our harsh winters that take up a good portion of our skating season. We really only have a couple of good months worth skating when you consider this first snow fall to the end of the melt, where the streets are finally clean and the parks are open for business.
With this being said, an indoor Skatepark has been my dream since I was 12 and now that I have the time, I want to bring to the new generation of Skaters, what I could never have; Vaudreuil-Soulange Indoor Skatepark.
A location has been narrowed down, first and last rents are accounted for, now all we need is the funding to buy all the necessary equipment and insurance.
For a competitive price, a skater will be able to skate all year-round and possibly near home!
Big plans are in motion for summer day camps, skateboarding shops, canteens and skateboarding courses all in proximity to your community.
Please help us give to the next generation of young skaters what we never had!
