Funds for the ‘hero’ who helped me

Doing this for a friend of mine, here's his/her message:

Good day everyone. I would like to ask for help for the person who protected me when we were walking on the streets. He is my co-worker at McDonald's and we really get along well, he is a really good person who loves helping others, a good student and son to his parents. Last night, when we were walking home together, there were two men who suddenly stopped us, it was raining really hard and there are no other people on the street except us. My friend immediately grab me and hid me behind him. We were confronted by those people about something that we don't even know about, I think they have mistaken us for someone else. I got scared and hid behind my friend more. They went closer and suddenly punched my friend on his face. I didn't know what to do at that time, I was standing there frozen like a log while my friend is stopping them from getting near me. We got lucky that they immediately went away and did not further harm my friend but that's where we were wrong..

When morning came, my friend together with his mother went to the hospital and they found out that his jaw had a bone fracture and his wisdom tooth was removed as well, the doctor said that they need to put a permanent metal support on his face and braces as well that costs almost 55,000 PHP.

I am desperately asking for help with this, we don't have enough money to cover all the expenses. Any amount is truly appreciated. I hope that you could help my friend who saved me from danger. Thank you so much for taking time in reading this.
