Funds for Property & Buildings for Family & No-Kill Animal Rescue

My name is Shelley. I am a happily married 52 year old woman, who is ready to finally be able to give my husband, 3 children, 3 grandchildren & 2 cats, a home where we can all live together, not only helping one another, but opening a No-Kill Animal Shelter/Rescue while hopefully being able to bring more positive meaning to all of our lives.

I am employed, for a wonderful Non-Profit Debt Management Company that has been around since the 1960's. While my job on the phones everyday is very rewarding emotionally, I have pretty much capped out on the earning levels and since my husband was injured back in 2010, his permanent disability check will not be increasing either. That is why I have decided to start this fund raiser, to ask for assistance to be able to bring this dream of mine & my family's to life.

I have researched several different ideas, and have settled on purchasing an abandoned school or multiple building location someplace in the United States that would provide a large building to house us all, hopefully have a separate building for my husband to start a church up, have a large piece of property for the No-Kills Animal Shelter/Rescue and to be able to make the location available to the community; be it for meetings, school/town carnivals, holiday fairs, etc...

I am seeking donations to assist in the purchase of such a location, and I would like it to be on the Historical Registry if possible to assure this property will be around for may coming generations.

The first part of this fundraiser will be to get the funds needed to purchase the land and facility, take care of any structural repairs needed and to get the business side of things started.
