#funds for Nsawam Community children

The community outreach team in Orthopedic training center (OTC) goes to the Nsawam community in the Eastern Region of Ghana on Wednesdays officially to see to patient who do not have financial support to cater for their health needs. In the community we have come across many cases and provided financial and social need to enhance and restore the social capacity for living.

Recently we have come across three cases in the community; all these cases are Spinal injury cases that need critical attention and support. They are three boy namely Dominic Tsumasi 20yrs, Emmanuel Antwi 7yrs and Abdul Rahman 12yrs. These children come from very poor background when it comes to their families providing their health needs.

Currently Abdul and Dominic are receiving support form OTC to ensure they undergo surgeries to help make their lives much better. Emmanuel is the next who needs support to undergo his surgery at the FOCOS hospital. They Hospital has made an assessment of Emmanuel and are ready to do a spinal surgery to help straighten the scoliosis Emmanuel suffers from .
