Funds for my Master’s Degree

I graduated in the University of the Philippines Diliman with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I have worked in a company for a year as a Managerial Candidate and currently working as a freelancer, through teaching.

저는 필리핀대학에서 심리학 전공 학사 학위를 취득했습니다. 저는 매니저로 1년 동안 회사에서 일했고 지금은 프리랜서 강사로 일하고 있습니다.

I have been applying for scholarship programs and universities since last year for my Masters Degree. I want to study in International Relations since I have a plan for myself and for my country. However, I failed a lot of times (somehow I managed to pass first rounds only), and knowing scholarship procedures, they would not tell the reason why the applicant failed. Thus, I continued applying.

저는 작년부터 석사 과정을 위해 장학금 프로그램과 대학을 신청 했습니다. 저는 저와 우리 나라 위해서 일을 하고 싶은 계획을 가지고 있기에 국제 관계학을 공부하고 싶습니다. 하지만 저는 여러 번 떨어졌었고 (어떤 까닭인지 저는 1 라운드 만 통과 할 수 있었습니다), 장학금 절차상 그들은 떨어진 이유를 말하지는 않았습니다. 그래서 저는 계속 지원 했습니다.

Finally, I received an acceptance letter for my Master’s Degree in Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea with International Relations as my major. I failed to get a 100% scholarship but the university offered a partial scholarship of 75% deduction. However, a partial deduction would still be expensive for me, and my current savings right now is allotted for my living costs. I would be needing around 200,000 PHP to settle everything for my education and visa processing. However, I need 130,000 for the tuition fee as its deadline would be on July 12. You could see the admission letter and the email sent to me by the university.

끝내 저는 서울 서강대 학교에서 국제 관계 전공 석사 학위 합격 통지서를 받았습니다. 저는 전액 장학금을 받지는 못했지만 대학교에서 75% 부분 장학금을 제공 했습니다. 하지만 저에게 부분 장학금은 여전히 비싸며, 그 동안 저축 해둔 돈은 생활비로 사용하고 있습니다. 제 교육비 와 비자를 해결하기 위해 약 200,000 PHP 필요 "하지만" 당장 학비 등록 마감 7월 12일까지 130,000원이 필요합니다. 당신에게 입학 허가서와 대학에서 온 이메일을 보여 드릴 수 있습니다.

While studying, I could get a part-time job to pay for my expenses. Therefore, I would like to ask from you any amount of money that could help me get into the university. If I could get a high average, then I do not need to pay for any tuition fee for the next semester. Any amount will be a big help for me, and it would mean a lot for me since you would be helping me reach my future goals. One of my future goals is to serve the Philippines by working in the government offices or international organizations, and I think gaining an experience abroad will help me widen my perspectives. Let me pay you back by studying hard for the future of the Philippines and for your future endeavors as well.

공부하는 동안 제 경비를 지불하기 위해 아르바이트를 할 수 있습니다. 따라서 저는 대학에 입학하는 데 도움이 될만한 금액 지원 받기를 원합니다. 만약 학점이 좋으면 다음 학기에 수업료를 내지 않아 됩니다. 어떤 금액이든 저에겐 큰 도움이 될 것이며, 당신이 저를 도와주고 있기에 저의 미래 목표를 달성하는데 큰 의미가 있을 것 입니다. 내 미래의 목표 중 하나는 정부 기관에서 일함으로써 필리핀에 봉사하는 것이고, 저는 해외 경험이 저의 시각을 넓혀주는대 큰 도움이 된다고 생각 합니다. 우리나라의 미래를 위해 열심히 공부하는 것 뿐만 아니라 미래의 당신이 도움을 필요로 하는 경우 도와 드리는 것으로 당신에게 보답 하겠습니다.
