Alvin Cortez Cardinez was diagnosed with Systemic Scleroderma since 2017. The disease progress fast because our family doesn't always able to provide the medical needs.

What is Scleroderma?

Scleroderma is a rare and debilitating autoimmune disease which there is no cure for. It's often progressive and fatal. Scleroderma attacks the Vascular System, cutting off blood flow to extremities, resulting in Gangrene and amputation. It affects the Gastrointestinal Tract, Heart, Kidneys, Lungs, and Esophagus. Scleroderma causes hardening, thickening, and tightening of the skin which oftentimes, causes devastating results to one's facial appearance and one's mobility.
