Hope Children's Home is registered in Kenya as a charitable child institution which houses children from 4 years to 12 years. It was started by four former street children who are now responsible for all the activities of the organization. The four men namely Franklin Odhiambo, Anthony Wekesa, Peter Macharia and Solomon Moinde are people with children interest at heart. They have successfully mobilized up to $77000 in funding which was used to put up the structures that the children are currently being accommodated in. The local community around Kabiria area situated in the outskirts of Nairobi has been so helpful. They have a special programme whereby they normally contribute among themselves and buy foodstuffs and other items for the centre. They normally visit the centre twice per month and this has greatly impacted the lives of these children. Currently, it has been a challenge to the management to smoothly run the institution thus may lead to closure if something is not done immediately. The estimated budget for the children as per now is $40000 which includes the children's education, clothing, medication, food as well as other requirements which arises with time. The children are really prayingso that they can get someone to fund the project or a donor. At Hope, accountability is key. Each and every coin spent must be accounted for thus making previous wellwishers to always believe in us. They are as well welcoming any guests who may want to visit them and spend sometime with them. Please help Hope Children's Home dream continue glowing by donating.
