Fundraising of Operation for JD Fourie

Today we just want to share little JD's story. (Krugersdorp)

My son JD Fourie. Our son was born on Mother's Day 10 May 2015 and was our God sent. From birth he had breathing problems but we were told that he would out grow it. As time went on he struggled to breath during his sleep and has tended to stop breathing for several seconds during his sleep and then continues to breath. We had him at several doctors for this and they established that he had over grow Tonsils and when he sleeps they block his airways. From the age of 7 months he struggled from continues infection's and was on different anti biotics for months on end. Every 2 or 3 weeks he would get sick with Tonsillitis, chest infection's and ear infection's. We approached the government hospitals and they refused to operate on him and we had to wait. We then finally saw a specialist a couple of months later that recommend to operate and we were told to wait for a available date. We have now waited over a year and still nothing. JD still struggles with his breathing and he still gets sick every couple of weeks but we have tried to keep him off the antibiotics as his immune system is starting to build a resistance towards it. JD struggles to play and run around with his friends as he starts to breath heavy. We have tried several doctor companies to try and help us but they all want payment upfront that we can unfortunately not afford it.

We spoke to Dr Hough rooms and they told us that the operation would be plus minus R 18000 wich includes everything which we can not afford. My son is a very bright and active little guy but struggles with this and we want him to be able to live and play to his full potential. As you can see on the photos his tonsils are very bad. If There are people who can help this child it will be wonderful. The grommets can be done the same time to save expenses.
