Chhaya’s Volunteering Trip to NEPAL

In April, I will be travelling to Nepal to volunteer in an orphanage through the company 'The Mighty Roar'- this page is to fundraise for that exciting trip!
The orphanage is situated in Kathmandu and I will be staying with lots of other volunteers on similar programs in a guesthouse ran by locals. During the day, I will work with children from a few months old up to 17, teaching basic English and maths as well as hygiene and sanitation, playing with the children and taking them on small trips, and completing general care tasks such as preparing meals.
The weekends are free to explore Kathmandu and the surrounding area; I want to make the most of my trip by visiting Nagarkot, the mountain village, and Pokhara, the city by the Phewa Lake, which boast some of the best views and food in Nepal!
The money raised will be used to fund my volunteering experience and any money that I have remaining will be donated back to the orphanage for supplies for the children. I hope you can support my journey! :)
