Other than a little “We broke you” money from my time in the service that covers a few essential bills, there isn’t any money for things like rent, much food, or the replacement of any gear that breaks. If you’ve lived this life or enjoy living it through Ponchos Pilot and would like to help out, anything would go a long way.
THE 10/90 Rule
This isn’t the purpose of this whole adventure, and this isn’t the only adventure out there. A lot of my Brothers and Sisters in Arms are out there with combat related injuries or find themselves down and out, which is why 90% of any donation made will go to one of several Veterans Nonprofits that Ponchos Pilot holds dear. The other 10% will go toward food and other things that keep the author living and breathing.
There’s no telling where this is headed, but to help a few comrades on the way will make it one helluva trip regardless.
Rewards
A custom email with unpublished photos from Ponchos Pilot's adventures as a homeless disabled veteran trying to raise money for his Brothers and Sisters in Arms who face similar troubles or who forgot that life was living when they came home from overseas. I wish I could offer more.
A handwritten thank you letter from Ponchos Pilot, written from his car or tent or wherever he currently resides. It isn't hardly anything of a reward and I have nothing more to offer, but I'll write to you of my adventures the best I can while thanking you for helping me to give to others.
