Fundraising For The Hemodialysis Treatment

Hi! I’m Jucelle, setting up a GoGetFunding page on behalf of my brother, Charles Justine Bobis. Currently, he needs to undergo dialysis treatments three (3) times a week, and EPO shots (hemoglobin for anemia) (3) times a week. Thus, we are imploring your kind hearts so that we will be able to weather these tough times.

When he was 18 years old, Charles was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes Mellitus. Despite a change in lifestyle, especially following a strict dietary regimen, he was eventually diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in the 2nd quarter of 2021. In April 2022, at the age of 33, his CKD escalated quickly and progressed to End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), characterized by only a 9% function in both his kidneys.

The incurred medical costs due to checkups, hospital admissions, surgical procedures, prescribed maintenance medications, and routine laboratory procedures have somehow depleted his healthcare insurance and benefits, such that the family still needs to come up with around $150 a week, mainly for the dialysis treatments and EPO shots.

All proceeds from this endeavor will go directly to his medical expenses (6 months' worth of dialysis treatment). Whatever amount you heartily provide, we will forever be grateful for.
