Fundraising for Sri Dharma Bodhi Temple – Buddhist Temple – Bangalore- India

Sri Dharma Bodhi Temple was established in 2007 by Master Dr. Sreedharan Sobhana. She is the first Female to Build a Buddhist temple with Sleeping Buddha, in South India.

Master Dr. Sobhana has come to India from Singapore with her Special needs child and started a Buddhist temple single handedly and is serving a lot of people in the society.

Master Dr. Sobhana’s life goal is to assist as many as possible to walk Buddha's path, to alleviate all suffering. With the increasing number of people finding meaning in life, and as they slowly come out of their own suffering and even helping others to come out of theirs, she finds more will in helping more.

Sri Dharma Bodhi Temple is presently located in Bengaluru, Karnataka with the below address -

#24, 1st Block, Sai Lotus Layout, near RNSIT college, 5th Stage, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560098

Temple is presently situated in Housing Estate with the area of 3025 sqft . We from Sri Dharma Bodhi Temple, have decided to shift premises permanently to spacious location of about 2 acres, in Kanakapura, Karnataka, India.

We have to raise a fund of about $ 704225 in order to complete this noble project.

The Buddhist temple! Temple requires a permanent home for an altar, place to hold various ceremonies, meditation, retreat and healing.

* Shifting of Container (Container mainly holds 6 feet Sleeping Buddha statue, Lord Naprok Statue, 2 Yak statues) ~ $ 2000

* Relocation of 3 to 4 trees and Additional Small trees (Trees here refer to the ones that are planted, grown and prayed in Sri Dharma Bodhi temple for more than a decade now) ~ $ 5670 to $ 7050

Master Dr. Sobhana says - “Life’s work is never complete, thus my existence in this form is never permanent nor is it ever changing. Time is always of great essence as it has always been lost and never found. Some may say time is cruel as it traps them while it continues to move; for me, I have always chosen to ride with time. Therefore, when the time comes for me to take my leave in the human realm to enter the next phase of existence, my work on earth continues.”

With your kind help, Lord Buddha's teachings will be able to flourish and advance towards the generations to come! Your generosity will allow Lord Buddha’s teachings to reach many. You will be helping temple by providing home for a Beautiful Buddhist Temple, Meditation and Healing center, which would help many by alleviating their sufferings. Temple will be hosting Buddhist chantings, various festivals, ceremonies, and workshops.

If the Temple project is not complete within Master Dr. Sobhana’s lifetime, the direct transmission of the knowledge, history and teachings of Lord Buddha will be lost forever.
