Fundraising for Yayasan Sunbeams

Yayasan Sunbeams Home (YSH), a non-governmental, self-supporting multi-racial foundation, is home to displaced, abused and neglected children of single-parents. From a home of first two half-brothers in 1995, the Taman Mawar home has grown to a total of 106 children consisting of boys and girls. Children at Yayasan Sunbeams range from 3 years to 23 years old.

However, its kindheartedness does come at a price, at about RM140,000 a month as this expenditure provides the necessary food, clothing, accommodation, transport and education expenses to children at the home.

Therefore, on September 2016, 10 enthusiastic and passionate individuals from Taylor's University came together in an effort to raise funds for Yayasan Sunbeams. Our social enterprise, Projek57 at Taylors was formed to not only create a movement to restore the founding values envision by Tunku Abdul Rahman, but too also to help Yayasan Sunbeam in relieving their expenditure expenses.

We sell premium quality, 100% made in Malaysia cotton tee shirts and other merchandise, featuring fresh and relevant home-grown designs with positive and meaningful messages about our nation. The donation that we received will be used to sponsor Projek57 at Taylors t-shirts to children at Yayasan Sunbeams Home.
