Fundraising for Meri’s Stem Cell Transplant

Hi everyone, last year up until now has been really tough as we fight our own battles amidst the pandemic. I'd really appreciate it if you could spare some of your time to read this.

My younger sister was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma on March 2021. From March to August she was able to complete 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Her PET scan in September still showed residual disease in the left neck so her doctor did another biopsy. Unfortunately, her recent biopsy is still positive for cancer cells. Next step is for her to have Salvage Therapy (combination of chemotherapy/antibody and immunotherapy) in preparation for the Stem Cell Transplant (they have to go to the US since this is not available in Cayman Islands). The estimated cost for the stem cell transplant alone is around $100,000 according to her oncologist.
