This is my dad, Alex Habal Deluyas, 48 years old.
He was rushed to the hospital on January 9, 2019. Based on his MRI and 2D echo results, he has infarct stroke or blockages in his left brain that affected his understanding and speech. He also has blockages in his heart which makes it hard for it to pump blood. Initially, he was brought to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but now he is being monitored in a private room. His doctors also advised him to have speech therapy and be on leave for work for 6 months to a year. Because of this, we are now in a difficult situation since my dad is the breadwinner of our family.
As a father, he always made sure to make ends meet. We could never really repay him for all his hard work and sacrifices, but as his family, we hope to give him the best support through this initiative.
We are knocking on your kind hearts to help our family during this challenging time. If you would like to make a financial donation to help my dad, please use this site to make a contribution. Any amount will make a big difference.
Alone we can do so little but together we can do so much. Let's support my dad, Alex, and show that he is not alone in this battle.
UPDATED: Since
my father was discharged from the hospital on January 23, we would use any help
that we will receive for his medicine, sleep test fee, sleep apnea machine/CPAP
machine, physical medicine and rehabilitation fee, speech therapy, medical needs of my
father (insulin, blood glucose test strips, blood lancets, etc.) and basic
living expenses. If you could help us with whatever you can provide, we would
be most appreciative.
