Fundraising for my CHEMOTHERAPY TREATMENT

I am Juan Carlos V. Torio 37 years old and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. :(

I'm still young with so many dreams for my family. I have 3 wonderful kids and I want

to give them the life that they deserve, I still want to see them grow, i want to be

there on every success and achievement that they will get as they grow older.. I

want to be there every step of the way. My wife needs a husband to take care of her

too the same way she takes good care of us, a shoulder to lean on when she gets

tired doing all the chores and working hard for us, i want to continue my

responsibility to my family which i cant do right now because of my condition. I am

always praying to God to give me another chance, heal me and bring

back my strength so i can fulfill my responsibility as a good son to my parents and

good provider for my family.

I am knocking AGAIN on your generous hearts to please help me and my family to

raise funds for my CHEMOTHERAPY. Any amount will be a big help for my

medication/treatment , to me and to our family.

January 2019 I felt a severe stomach pain again, more painful this time, we went to

the doctor to have it checked and a CT scan was requested to check on my

pancreas, and another cyst was found and to our surprise there is a mass beside the

cyst in span of 6 mos only, the mass is already 3cm in size that causing the pain and

because of it the pancreas cant function properly and it shrinked already, so to

avoid for the whole pancreas to get damage , to avoid the mass (tumor) to spread it

needs an immediate surgery which they called WHIPPLE'S PROCEDURE. The

procedure is not just a normal surgery, its one of the hardest and biggest surgery,

according to the doctors it can last about 10-12 hrs and complications may arise

during and after the surgery, a need for blood transfusion is also possible and I may

need to stay in the ICU for close monitoring and they ask us to prepare at least 700k

+ for it.

The big day Feb. 7, the operation took 10 hours but praise God it was successful, no

complications during the surgery and no need to be brought in the ICU. I had to stay

in the recovery room because my Bp is shooting up. February 14, 2019 i was

discharged from the hospital but we had to signed a PN ( Promissory Note ) due to a

huge bill which we are still paying until now.

After that big surgery i still need to go back to my doctors several times for check

ups and biopsy of the tumor. continuous medication is also required. Initial result of

the biopsy is NEURO ENDOCRINE TUMOR MALIGNANT. :( So, i need to consult an

ONCOLOGIST.

Meeting the oncologist : a request for PET CT SCAN to check for other markings of

cancer inside my body. The scan cost 71k.

PET CT SCAN RESULT: the result shows that it has metastasized through my liver and

lungs already and there is no other way too cure but to through CHEMOTHERAPY.

CHEMOTHERAPY: the treatment costs 60k per month. consists of 2 types of chemo

medicines, anti- vomiting and white blood cells, I need to do the treatment 3 mos in

a row then repeat CT scan if its needs further treatment or it improves.
