Fundraising to save the life of ELEONOR GONZALES MERCADO

I am Marianita Mercado Mapantay, first cousin of ELEONOR GONZALES MERCADO (the above photo). My cousin Eleonor who has been confined in the hospital since November 15, 2019 up to the present due to various ailments that started from a bleeding Mayoma. She is now confined at Daniel O. Mercado Medical Center (DMMC) at Tanauan City, Batangas. I am knocking to your very kind heart for assistance to help me raise funds to defray her increasing bills at the hospital.

She was first brought to Laurel District Memorial Hospital (LDMH) a government hospital in Tanauan City, Batangas where she was diagnosed to be suffering from a Bleeding mayoma. Doctors there operated her but the surgery has to be stopped for reason we do not know as no medical abstract was given by LDMH when we left. Instead doctors there and staffs suggested her to be transferred to Mary Mediatrix M Medical center (MMMC) Lipa City Batangas, another hospital they recommended that has Intensive Care Unit (ICU) facilities to handle my Cousin's medical problem. They closed her wound temporarily at LDMH and immediately transferred her to MMMC on November 16, 2019. At MMMC, my cousin who was already feeling weak and could hardly breathe was diagnosed for:

1. Massive Pulmonary Embolism
2. Septic Shock Probably secondary to Intra abdominal infection
3. Acute Deep Vein Thrombosis
4. T/C Antiphospolipid Antibody Syndrome
5. R/O Vasculitis
6. Abnormal Uterine Bleeding Secondary to Myoma Uteri
7. Complicated Urinary Tract Infection

However, in spite of her hospital transfer to MMMC, her condition has not improved. Worried of the mounting bill at MMMC, the parents of my cousin decide to transfer her to Daniel O. Mercado Medical Hospital, another hospital on our hometown Tanauan City Batangas, charging much lower fees to indigent patient. My cousin's parents executed a written promissory note to pay her hospital bill in partial amount at MMMC. Her total bill raised up to PHP 500,000. In order for my cousin to be released my cousin's parents give a partial amount to release her. We are hoping that she gets well soon at DMMC. Meanwhile, again her hospital bills is increasing and that's our whole family problem.

Her father works only as Barangay Tanod (Street Patrol) at our Community Barangay Natatas with a measly monthly allowance of PHP5,000 while her mother is a plain housewife. It is in this fine that I send this appeal to ask for financial help to defray the mounting hospital bills of my ailing sister.
