Fundraising for Marvin’s Kidney Transplant

Hello, my name is Femalyn Yere, and I'm Marvin Melegrito's live-in partner. I'm writing to ask for your assistance with his Kidney Transplant operation, target this year 2023.

We discovered accidentally, on April 9, 2019, at the age of 28, that he has kidney disease based on his lab results. He took his medication, but after 5 months, we went to the hospital because he was out of control due to high creatinine and needed Emergency Dialysis on September 19, 2019. He was confined for more than a week.

Marvin is required to have Hemodialysis twice a week. Marvin was Diagnosed End Stage Renal Disease Secondary to Chronic Glumerulonephritis. His kidney, according to his doctor, is smaller than a normal kidney and is inborn. Because of what happened, he resigned. And he will no longer be able to work.

Marvin's doctor advised him to have a Kidney transplant while he is still young and able for the operation.We planned, but the pandemic hit us. He was also confined last January 11-19, 2021, and tested positive for covid19. After three years of Hemodialysis, he began to lose weight and develop complications such as heart enlargement and hypertension.

He is now 31 years old, and we have one son, so we want him to live longer, live normally, and work again. We're appealing to your generous hearts to assist us in raising funds for my loving partner's treatment and medical care. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
