Fundraising for Marina Lipata Blood Cancer Chemotherapy Treatment

Please help us fund for mama's chemotherapy treatment and medications. She is diagnosed with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma (Blood Cancer) with Bone disease and kidney failure last August 24, 2020. Her chemotherapy has 4 cycles(4months) with total of 16 sessions. Her major chemo medicine costs 140,000pesos per monthly velcade package and 30,000pesos per 1 cycle for her bone disease medication for 2 years, this not includes the needed weekly laboratories which cost more or less 2,000pesos and oral daily medicines at home costs 5,000pesos. This costs our average family for a 250,000+ monthly expenses for her treatment.

She was hospitalized twice after her arrival here in the Philippines on Aug. 27. First hospitalization is due to rectal bleeding with 62,646pesos total expenses for hospital bill and medicines last Aug.31-Sept. 3. The second is due to community acquired pneumonia with 243,340pesos for total hospital bills and 1st chemotherapy cycle expenses last Sept. 8-12. All this was covered by our little savings and through the help of donations from relatives, family friends, and mama's friends and colleagues from Cyprus, where she worked as an OFW for 15 years. We couldn't thank you all enough for saving mama as she is in need of immediate medical attention after her recent diagnosis.
