fundraising for Joseph’s valve replacement

6 years ago my brother, Joseph Betansos, was diagnosed with congenital bicuspid aortic valve and was maintained on cardiac meds.

He initially had cardiomegaly on his chest Xray but had no other symptoms. 2D echo revealed that he has bicuspid aortic valve.

Last month, he often experienced palpitations which led to his hospitalization. Repeat 2D echo revealed that his left ventricle has enlarged and he is now a candidate for valve replacement.
