Fundraising for grandpa in ICU

When he was still doing better, Francisco Ramos, a 67 y/o, was full of stories of when he was still working and worked by helping in making submarines and all the places that he had been, but haven't saved anything because he was taking care of my grandma who has plastic anemia and needed to have blood transfusion often.

He was capable of anything, at home he doesn't want us to call a handyman to fix things because he knows he can fix it better, and he does. But just recently this year, we went to the doctor to have him checked up because we noticed that he was a little disoriented and wasn't himself lately, and discovered that he has a benign tumor in his brain, and was prescribed medicine to help out on his case because little by little he was losing the ability to move, walk and eat on his own.

We had him checked again, and the doctor removed the medication that was giving him strength because it was steroids, saying that it would give him more than harm than good in the long run. After a few days he lost the ability to walk again and was left bedridden. He was only given vitamins.

He stopped eating and drinking altogether and slept for a couple of days, and we saw that his body just dropped. He's already naturally skinny but now he was skinnier. My grandpa was rushed in the hospital yesterday because when I, his grandchild, was taking care of him while my grandma was out, I noticed that the tips of his fingers was turning dark.

He was contained in the emergency critical area for half a day, nurses stabilizing him before they transfer him to the ICU. The doctors found other complications other than the tumor that they found previously.
