Fundraising for Cambodia

Right 2 Smile (R2S) is an NGO which strives for cultural interaction, humanitarian work and challenging educational and adventure activities local and in foreign countries such as Cambodia, India and Kenya. R2S works on three pillars: education, by offering quality education to children in rural areas; community empowerment, by supporting local villages with long term objectives for their development; and health, by offering medical health camps for children within their local communities.

The project which I shall be going to from 19th August to 9th September is in Takeo, Cambodia targets schools in rural villages and Day Care Centres. Such project aims to:

 Focus on quality Education through teacher training & learning outcomes

 Improve teaching resources in all village schools

 Improve Teachers’ Salaries

 Promote & scale up bilingual education to rural children

 Support vulnerable children & their families in the villages

 Extra-Curricular Activities

 Introduce Maths & Khmer subjects at school.

 Child Sponsorship

The funds raised through fundraising activities will all go to the projects and not towards any administrative expense within the organisation. R2S has a 100% Donation to Project policy. Thus, any help would be greatly appreciated.
