Fundraising for BHS Miasong PC

Barangay Miasong is a small community situated at the foot of Mt Matutum in the Southern part of Mindanao, Philippines. It is considered to be a GIDA (Geographically Isolated and Disadvantage Area) compared to the rest of the barangays of the municipality of Tupi. In the spirit of universal healthcare, despite the geographic disadvantage, they have a small Health Station in the area where health professionals provide basic health services: Vital Signs monitoring, Vaccinations, Family Planning, Prenatals and so on. The local health workers keep health records of their patients the old fashioned way (papers and envelopes). This form of record-keeping, aside from being time-consuming to retrieve and archive, it is also prone to being destroyed or lost, especially during this time wherein the weather is unpredictable. Shifting from paper to electronic records can keep the profile of each patient for a long time which would greatly help our health workers with providing the best care to them. With this, this fundraising is created to help provide for a basic computer set for the Health Station of Barangay Miasong.
