Fundraising for Baby Gianna Oleizia Orillaneda’s Liver Transplant

Gianna Oleizia Orillaneda is my friend’s almost 3-month-old infant born on November 26, 2020. Gianna came out as a healthy baby girl. On her first visit to the doctor on December 12, 2020, They brought up some concerns about Gianna having yellow eyes and skin with her pediatrician. The doctor suggested to have her exposed to the sun to get rid of the yellowness. The doctor did not see any complications regarding Gianna’s health. After a couple more visits to the doctor to complete her vaccinations, the doctor finally ordered some lab tests to be done due to the yellowness still being present. Immediately, they head over to Hi-Precision to have Gianna tested. The results required a gastroenterology pediatrician to be contacted. Via Zoom, the specialist was able to explain that my friend’s daughter needs a major surgery in order to save her liver. Gianna is diagnosed with Imp. Cholestatic Jaundice secondary to Biliary Atresia. This fundraiser to help raise money for her daughter with the procedure she needs called Biliary Exploration with IOC, possible KASAI.
