Fundraising For Animal Shelter
Hi my name is Brian and I live with my wife Caroline in Malaga Spain. Up until a year ago we rented a finca (small holding) in the country where we took in and looked after ill treated animals such as Horses, Donkeys, Goat, sheep, cats, dogs, chickens and practically any animal that needed help from being badly treated or left for dead. Our problem is that after 2 years we have spent all of our savings on rent and looking after the animals, We have had to give up our finca and move back to the coast to live which we are not happy with. Then the other day I heard about this website gogetfunding.com and thought this could be are chance to raise enough money so that we could find another finca to rent where we could help so many ill treated and abandoned animals again, You only need to look at the pictures above to see the way some animals are treated and left with no chance of survival.
The problem is we don’t have any money left now to start this venture and are looking to all the animal lovers out there to help us fund this project by donating as much money as you can so that we can help the animals in need that are left for dead or have been ill treated. There are so many dogs, cats, horses and donkeys e.t.c here in Spain that need good homes and help.
The type of property we need to find to look after the animals is a house with plenty of land and out buildings for them to sleep and possibly a stable block for any Horses, Ponies, donkeys that we may receive.
As we all know it is not cheap keeping a pet whether it is a cat, dog, or horse they all need feeding and when you have many abandoned animals to feed this can run into a lot of money per month that is why we need to raise enough money for the initial deposit of 2 months rent and then 1 months rent in advance which in total will be about 1800€ plus we will then have an ongoing cost of around 1200€ + per month which will include rent, Electric, Water and animal feed depending on the amount of animals that we have to look after.
Thank you very much for taking your time to read this, and we hope you can spare some money for our project to save animal life’s.
