Fundraising activity for the Mantala Family

Hi everyone! I'm Kathleen and these are my aunt and cousin. My aunt has been diagnosed with Stage 3B Breast Cancer merely 4 days after her 50th birthday. She's been a widower for 7 years and single-handedly raised her son by selling the typical Filipino street food on a space below her rented house. My aunt wasn't able to continue selling after she was diagnosed and relied on all her savings to keep the family afloat. When all their piggy banks are emptied, they resorted to seeking help from friends and family members for their daily needs. Her son is now a graduating student of Electrical Engineering in a public college.

Most of her hospitalization bills are covered by the government with the help of another aunt who lobbied the papers to seek a government grant for all the procedures. She is now prescribed to drink Ensure daily wherein a weekly consumption will cost PhP1,700 which she needs to take for 4 months when her chemotherapy cycles resume.

Today, their expenses amount to the following:
Electricity Php 1,500 per month
Running water Php 500 per month
Drinking water Php 300 per month
Food Php 5,000 per month

This does not include my cousin's daily fare to his internship which amounts to Php80. He will graduate in a year with 2 semesters left and a semestral fee of Php1000 for miscellaneous fees. When school resumes he'll need Php32 for his daily commute and most of the time saves the money and will opt to walk all the way home to buy snacks for his mother. Upon graduating, he will need Php17,000 for his review school tuition fee.

This fundraising is for helping them with their daily needs until my cousin graduates. They had been perfectly contented with their lives before cancer ruined it. I hope you can help us by giving them the means to have a semblance of their life before cancer got in the way.
