Campaign Story
Greetings. I hope this finds you well.
My name is Bernard kirui. I reside in Nairobi, capital city of Kenya.Finding job has been depressing part. (Unemployment in Kenya)
I have worked in poor paying jobs even as a petrol station attendant but little salary of $100 per month does not sustain me and also be enough to save and buy equipments for programming. It is odd in my country to really ask for funds to pursue career in programming. But I know someone reading this and knows struggles of any upcoming web developer and understands what I am putting across
For a long time I have been dreaming of being a front-end and back-end web developer,unfortunately I don't have enough money to buy equipments to realize my dreams and accomplish my goals.
I won a scholarship program from udacity in partnership with Google Africa
and enrolled in a front-end web development program. (as shown in images below) and I don't want to miss this opportunity.
Please help me in this fundraising project.This is the only way left for me to raise the funds.I know there's someone who can relate and help with any amount.
The raised funds will be used to buy :
~Laptop, a powerful and effective ideal for programming
~Accessories (keyboard, mouse and softwares)
~4 months internet connection
