Our beloved 9-year-old male cat Lompi has not been able to stand for more than a week now. His two hind legs are weakened, making it difficult for him to walk. Veterinary studies have concluded that something is likely to put pressure on his spinal nerve. He will receive steroid injections for two weeks, if there is no improvement, further tests are needed. However, we cannot fund the MRI scan and any surgery or subsequent treatments. In that case, we will have to say goodbye to him.
