FUNDRAISER FOR TAAL VOLCANO ERUPTION EVACUEE

As a resident of two towns situated within the 14km danger zone that was affected by the recent eruption of Taal Volcano, I can personally attest to the hardships my fellow Batangueños are currently experiencing.

We would have never imagined that the day would come where we are uncertain if we still have a place to come home to. We are still lucky that lives were spared and we were able to evacuate to a safer place. Food and supplies are regularly given but we still do not know how long things will get back to normal.

Rebuilding is the last thing we are worried right now. With the help of some relatives, me, my wife and our 9 month old boy were able to move away from the danger zones. So far, they are safe and out of harms way.
