Hi there, my name is Braden Woolley and I am a second year Software Engineering student in South Africa.
When I was growing up I was fortunate enough to have access to computers as a young child. I got my start with playing games or drawing in paint on my father's old white dinosaur from the '90s and I grew to love everything about computers.
I am now in University studying Software Engineering with the dream of one day working on smart aviation systems that involve the use of AI to make travel safer for passengers. I love what I do and because of my passion and dedication I got 7 distinctions out of the 11 modules that I had in the year. As a result I was lucky enough to be awarded a bursary from my university, however, the bursary only covers $422 out of my $7000 annual fees.
I started this campaign because I want to ease my financial strain on my father as he faces the threat of retrenchment annually due to his age. I really want to do everything in my power to achieve my dreams and be able to give back to my parents for all of the opportunities that they have given me.
I hope that you will consider donating to my cause, any amount no matter how small would mean the world to me.
