Fundraiser for my Mom’s Medication

Hi. My name is Reynaldo Torillo III. I'm the breadwinner of my family. I'm a dad of one, a husband, and a loving son to my amazing mother, Marilou Torillo.

We came from nothing. I grew up in the slums of Tondo. When I was growing up, my Mother had to do everything she can in order to raise me and have food on our table. I don't have a dad. So she stepped up to become both. She's someone whom you might call in tagalog na "Labandera". She raised me by doing that. She accepts jobs from our neighbors. Getting laundry to wash day and night, just so I have allowance the next day. She sacrificed a lot for me and now, I want to do the same thing for her.

We recently found out that she's on Stage 2 Parotid Cancer. She needs to undergo another surgery in order to completely remove the Parotid Gland in her right jaw area. After that, the Doctor will assess if she needs to undergo chemotherapy or Radiation Therapy.

I don't have much. But I am extremely willing to do everything I can to help her. I promised her that she will live long. Long enough to see me raise my daughter the way she did, long enough to see me become successful, and long enough to know that she lived a very fulfilling life.
