Fundraiser for Evelina: PSA and Pyelonephritis at 12 years old. Urgent hospitalization needed.

Hi Everyone,

With all my heart and hope I am asking for

help for my sister named Evelina.

She is just 12 years old and suffers from Poststreptococcal

arthritis (PSA), Pyelonephritis and Chronic Tonsillitis. She started to show vague symptoms

about 10 months ago, therefore her diagnosis was incorrectly put and every time

she took wrong medication. After 2 months of

continuous investigations she finally was correctly diagnosed. It all happened

in Republic of Moldova where she is currently being treated, but due the

complicated nature of her illnesses, I wish to transfer her here in

Cluj-Napoca, Romania where I am staying, with a hope that here she can get

better treatment and better hospitalization. And because she doesn’t possess a

Romanian citizenship, nor a Romanian healthcare the costs are going to be

bigger than normal.

This little child's illnesses are in a treatable

stage, but without help and proper care, the complications may lead to

kidney failure where a transplant might be needed.

My mom is a single mom of 3 children and the

past months of investigations went hard on her, and of course on the

family's budget. And I can't bear the thought of being unable to help. I

also can't bear the thought that my sister is walking every day, for the past

two months, with a constant pain in her knees, joint pain being one of

the symptoms of PSA. Every day for her is just another day of pain, and this is

not how a childhood must be felt and lived.

Every small donation will help my sister to

recover and live her childhood outside the hospitals, a normal childhood

that every child deserves!
