Campaign Story
My father, Edgardo Roque, was admitted last April 6, 2018 due to 1 day history of fever. He was managed as a case of S. Aureus Bacteremia and Pneumonia. Laboratory tests where done. Results of the tests showed that he had increasing trend of creatinine level. Elevated creatinine level signifies impaired kidney function or kidney disease.
On his 4th hospital day his creatinine level is still increasing. The doctors advised him to undergo dialysis. He immediately underwent dialysis and experienced hypotensive episodes during dialysis.
At around 4 am on the 5th hospital day, he was referred for unresponsiveness with with blood oozing out from IJ catheter site due to displaced IJ cath. He was pulse less, return of his pulse occurred after 1 hour of resuscitation. He was then hooked to mechanical ventilator and transferred to medical ICU. He doesn't have medical insurance and his medical bills are rising rapidly.
If we all give small amount then we can ensure he gets the medical treatment he needs to ensure he survives. Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.
Anybody who is unable to assist monetarily is encouraged to help by praying for him. A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.
Thank you you for taking the time to stop and read this.
