Fundraiser for Deaf Kids Education for a brighter future

I am Gen Diokno, I am Deaf and a Co-Founder of Hand and Heart- a non-profit that supports finding employment and livelihood for Persons with Disability. My old school was shut down, Which is why my dream is to set up a school through Hand and Heart. To support Deaf children to have a bright future. I want to make the children happy and have a good life and future.

Children with hearing loss in the Philippines are deprived of most opportunities to learn. Many children cannot even go to school due to poverty. Poverty also causes an overwhelming shortage of interpreters, visual aids, and educational materials.

They are also deprived of employment opportunities as adults and are unable to escape poverty.

Education is their hope. Even if they are poor, if they have access to quality education, they may be able to work like the people they hear.

Our goal is to establish a learning center to give them that opportunity. This is their chance for a better future.

At the Learning Center, with the money you donate, we will set up an office, hire teachers or interpreters, and feed the children. We prepare curricula to ensure quality education and purchase technological devices (e.g., iPads) to make education more accessible to children. Children can go to the Learning Center to learn, even if they are poor. They can use the devices to repeat learning after class. Please donate to help children's future.
